When we stop hearing about old ladies being mugged on Skytrain stations or beaten to death or within an inch of their life, we can stop needing the transit cops.
Plus we don’t have enough regular RCMP/police to police the transit system.
But I don’t think the transit cops should have guns. Maybe guns with non-lethal rubber rounds only.
